Can’t Miss Milton Events for December 2024

The festive season is in full swing this month, and Milton is filled with holly jolly markets, family festivals, and exciting entertainment. Check out what’s happening this December!

Experience of the Month

  • Miracle On Main Street: Bring a toy or a cash donation to support local charities and get free entry into this festive annual event, happening downtown Milton on December 7. Enjoy free carnival rides, pony rides, a petting zoo and live entertainment, before picking up some holiday gifts at the holiday market.
  • Santa at the Fairgrounds: On weekends from December 7 – 22, the Halton Agricultural Society at the Milton Fairgrounds for a visit with Santa Morgan, a holiday market, cozy fires, and live music.

  • Games Night and Martini Monday: Visit The Eighth Note on Monday evenings to enjoy a card or board game and a $10 martini deal.
  • Walking Group Around the Mill Pond: Enjoy some company and a leisurely stroll around the picturesque Mill Pond on Tuesday mornings, starting at the Grace Anglican Church.
  • Tuesday Trivia Night: Bring a team to Shoeless Joe’s on Tuesday evening to test your knowledge for a chance to win exciting prizes.
  • Tacos and Margaritas Night: Enjoy special deals at The Eighth Note every Tuesday while sipping on tasty margaritas in a variety of unique flavours.
  • Pokémon TCG League: Drop into The Dragon Milton every Wednesday afternoon to learn the game or find new friends to play with.
  • Coffee Hour Social: All are welcome for a cup of coffee and some time to chat on Friday mornings each week at St. Paul’s United Community of Faith Milton.
  • Casual Friday: Magic the Gathering: Join The Dragon Milton for a free evening of casual play for both beginners and experienced players every Friday.
  • An Afternoon at the Movies @ Beaty: Visit the Milton Pubic Library’s Beaty Branch Friday afternoons for a feature film, suitable for seniors 55+.
  • The Three Sisters Exhibit: Until February 23, explore the importance of agriculture to Haudenosaunee peoples past and present at Conservation Halton’s new exhibit featuring stories and art pieces at Crawford Lake Conservation Area.

  • Sensory Storytime: Children ages 2-6, along with their caregivers, can visit Milton Library’s Main branch for storytime geared toward children with sensory sensitivities.
  • The Mom Market x Milton Mall: Enjoy a festive shopping experience as the Mom Market brings local vendors and holiday fun to the Milton Mall.
  • Walk to Bethlehem: Step back in time and immerse yourself in the magic of the holiday season at “Walk to Bethlehem,” hosted by SGSA Church at Andrew’s Farm Market & Winery.
  • Hot Cocoa & Cozy Trails: A Hike to Connect: Join Hiking Through Your Mind for a peaceful hike to the Hilton Falls fire pit to connect and enjoy a hot drink.
  • Holiday Tack Swap at Old Orchard Farm: Visit the farm to shop from a range of vendors selling the best equestrian gifts.

Monday, December 2

  • Winter Wonderland & Market: Pick up something special while supporting the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation and Miracle on Main Milton at this holiday market featuring a kids zone, Santa visits, horse racing and a light show.

Tuesday, December 3

  • Family Paint Party: Get creative with your family at Keenan’s Irish Pub in this guided painting event.

Wednesday, December 4

  • Sean Collins Live: Get ready for an unforgettable night of laughter as FunnyPeople.ca proudly presents esteemed comedian Sean Collins with special guest opener Zahan Khursigara at Champs Entertainment Centre.

  • Snow White – A British Pantomime: Bring the family and laugh along at this original pantomime by Milton’s own Brightside Players at FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton.

  • Christmas on the Rails: Ride into the holiday season with Halton County Radial Railway as they open their doors one last time for a unique seasonal experience, including streetcar rides, before closing until next Spring.

  • A Swingin’ Christmas with Toronto All-Star Big Band: Hear holiday classics performed with a big-band twist in this exciting concert at FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton.
  • Community Carol Sing: Sing along to your favourite Christmas Carols with the Milton Concert Band and local community church choirs. Monetary donations will be gratefully accepted and given to Food For Life, a Milton charity.

Tuesday, December 10

  • Family Paint Party: Get creative with your family at Keenan’s Irish Pub in this guided painting event.

Thursday, December 12

  • Strumbellas: Part Time Believer Tour: Experience the evolution of two-time JUNO award-winning alternative group The Strumbellas, from their debut album in 2012 to their upcoming fifth studio album, “Part Time Believer.”

Saturday, December 14

  • Visit Santa at the Tree Farm! Bring your family and your pets for a visit with Santa and Christmas tree shopping, plus free activities and snacks at Van Dongen’s Garden Centre.
  • Learn to Code – Grandparents and Grandkids Edition @ Beaty: Kids and their grandparents can take part in a hands-on workshop to explore coding together using Coding Critters.
  • The Magic of Christmas: Join the Milton Concert Band for a Christmas performance of holiday classics and future favourites at FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton.
  • Slides & Slices: Enjoy a fun game of curling with your own age group before grabbing a slice of pizza in the lounge. Beginners welcome – a crash course is available.
  • Johnny Classic Band @ The Eight Note: See Toronto’s newest and hottest classic rock band, comprised of members from established acts in the Toronto Rock ‘n Roll scene.

  • Mistletoe Vendor Market: Shop from more than 30 vendors, including artisans and local businesses, and enjoy family-friendly activities at the Milton Mall.
  • 50th Annual Campbellville Christmas Parade: Come out to Campbelville and celebrate the 50th anniversary of this community parade featuring floats from local businesses and households.

  • Live Band Karaoke: Sing along to a live band at this fun monthly event at The Eighth Note.

  • Frozen Jr.: Bring the kids to see a special performance featuring their favourite Frozen characters by Milton Community Theatre.
