Mark your calendars! With the holiday season right around the corner, Milton has dozens of markets, concerts and family fun events happening this month. Explore some of the exciting experiences to make this a November to remember!  

Milton Experience of the Month

  • Country Heritage Holiday Market and Halton Buttertart Festival: Indulge in some sweet treats as vendors bring a selection of Canada’s favourite dessert, butter tarts, to the Country Heritage Holiday Market. Find unique gifts from the makers and artisans, grab a photo with Santa and dine at the food trucks while enjoying the rustic holiday ambiance.

Ongoing Events

  • Alphabet Play @ Main: Children aged 2-5, along with their caregivers, can visit the Milton Library’s Main branch on Mondays to explore letter shapes and sounds, through stories, songs, activities and a craft.
  • Games Night and Martini Monday: Visit The Eighth Note on Monday evenings to enjoy a card or board game and a $10 martini deal.
  • Walking Group Around the Mill Pond: Enjoy some company and a leisurely stroll around the picturesque Mill Pond on Tuesday mornings, starting at the Grace Anglican Church.
  • Graceway Baptist Church Milton GriefShare: Those who are grieving the loss of a loved one can learn tools and find encouragement at this weekly support group on Tuesday evenings, running until November 26.
  • Tuesday Trivia Night: Bring a team to Shoeless Joe’s on Tuesday evening to test your knowledge for a chance to win exciting prizes.
  • Tacos and Margaritas Night: Enjoy special deals at The Eighth Note every Tuesday while sipping on tasty margaritas in a variety of unique flavours.
  • Free Meditation Class: Learn to establish inner silence and joy at this free class hosted by Sahaja Yoga Meditation, happening at St. Scholastica Catholic Elementary School on Wednesdays through December 4.
  • Pokémon TCG League: Drop into The Dragon Milton every Wednesday afternoon to learn the game or find new friends to play with.
  • Coffee Hour Social: All are welcome for a cup of coffee and some time to chat on Friday mornings each week at St. Paul’s United Community of Faith Milton.
  • Casual Friday: Magic the Gathering: Join The Dragon Milton for a free evening of casual play for both beginners and experienced players every Friday.
  • Reformer Flow: Gain strength working with resistance, improve stability and better engage your core muscles in this class hosted on Saturdays by Pilates Difference.
  • PMP Live Instructor Led Certification Training Bootcamp Milton, ON: Prepare for your PMP exam with live instruction including case studies, quizzes and simulation exams, happening on multiple dates.
  • A Murder is Announced: Experience an Agatha Christie classic live on stage at the FirstOntario Arts Centre performed by the Milton Players Theatre Group from November 1 – 9.

  • Craft and Hidden Treasures Sale: Visit the Milton Seniors’ Activity Centre to shop gently used items as well as unique handmade gifts.
  • Milton Philharmonic Orchestra: Remembering: Join the orchestra as they start their 11th season with a variety of classical music celebrating and reflecting on life.
  • Slides & Slices: Enjoy a fun game of curling with your own age group before grabbing a slice of pizza in the lounge. Beginners welcome – a crash course is available.

  • Sensory Storytime: Children ages 2-6, along with their caregivers, can visit Milton Library’s Main branch for storytime geared toward children with sensory sensitivities.
  • High Tea: Indulge in a delicious high tea at Country Heritage Park during this fundraiser in support of families with children with special needs.

  • Victoria Park Remembrance Day Parade: Join the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 136 – Milton in marking Remembrance Day with a parade marching to the cenotaph, and refreshments afterward.
  • Rapido’s 20th Anniversary Celebration: Celebrate Rapido’s anniversary with a free visit to Halton County Radial Railway to see the preserved rail cars, enjoy some snacks and take home some merch.

  • The Beatle Band: Be transported to the golden era of the Fab Four during this extraordinary tribute performance at FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton.

  • Milton Fall Chess Titans U-14 Tournament 2024: Experience an exciting day of tactical moves, strategic plays, and intense competition at this annual U-14 chess tournament.
  • 3D Archery Tournament: Try your hand at archery with over 40 targets set up, plus access to a practice field, happening at the Halton Sportsman Association building.
  • Holiday Market! Visit Third Moon Brewing for a bite and a chance to shop a wide range of vendors with beer in hand.
  • Harvest Tea and Historical Talk: Enjoy an afternoon tea followed by an informative talk by local historian John McDonald about the stories of Milton.
  • Milton Curling Club 60th Anniversary Gala: Commemorate the club’s anniversary with this special celebration including local dignitaries, appetizers and a cake cutting.
  • Always ABBA: Experience the music of ABBA at this tribute show featuring some of Canada’s finest vocalists and musicians.

  • An Evening with Waubgeshig Rice: Join author and journalist Waubgeshig Rice for a discussion of his most recent novel Moon of the Turning Leaves, part of Milton Public Library’s 2024 One Book, One Milton.

  • Sacred Christmas Choral Concert: Join the Milton Choristers as they perform a wide variety of favourite Christmas Choral works.
