With Fall festivals, Halloween parties, and cultural celebrations filling up our events calendar this month, October is bustling with concerts, crafts, and a whole lot of candy. Explore all the incredible festivities happening in Milton all month long.
Milton Experience of the Month
Milton Night Market and Fall Festival: From October 4-5, dress in your best tropical clothing to experience “Fall in California” at this popular market at the Milton Fairgrounds, returning for the third time. Grab a drink at the Fall sangria bar, join the pie eating contest, make friendship bracelets, and more while soaking up the tropical Autumn vibes. With crafts, artisan vendors, food trucks, and a fun lounge for kids, there’s plenty for the whole family to enjoy. Kids 10 and under are free, and admission for everyone else is $10 (cash only at the gate).

- Merry Milton Scavenger Hunt: Uncover local hidden gems while exploring carefully curated locations throughout town. Tickets are available throughout September and beyond for this family and dog-friendly experience.
- Walking Group Around the Mill Pond: Enjoy some company and a leisurely stroll around the picturesque Mill Pond on Tuesday mornings, starting at the Grace Anglican Church.
- Trivia with Quiz Master James: Test your knowledge for a chance to win fun prizes at The Eighth Note’s weekly trivia series happening on Tuesday evenings from September 10 – October 29.
- Graceway Baptist Church Milton GriefShare: Those who are grieving the loss of a loved one can learn tools and find encouragement at this weekly support group on Tuesday evenings, running until November 26.
- Coffee Hour Social: All are welcome for a cup of coffee and some time to chat on Friday mornings each week at St. Paul’s United Community of Faith Milton.
- Games Night and Martini Monday: Visit The Eighth Note on Monday evenings to enjoy a card or board game and a $10 martini deal.
- Milton Farmers’ Market: Shop from more than 40 vendors selling artisan goods and locally-grown produce, every Saturday morning on Main Street.

- Peer Support Group: Individuals who identify as transgender, gender diverse, as well as those who are exploring or questioning their identities can meet in a welcoming and supportive environment.
- Pokémon TCG League: Drop into The Dragon Milton every Wednesday afternoon to learn the game or find new friends to play with.
- PMP Live Instructor Led Certification Training Bootcamp Milton, ON: Prepare for your PMP exam with live instruction including case studies, quizzes and simulation exams, happening on multiple dates.
- Alphabet Play @ Main: Children aged 2-5, along with their caregivers, can visit the Milton Library’s Main branch on Mondays to explore letter shapes and sounds, through stories, songs, activities and a craft.

- Fall Dessert Festival: Part of the Milton October Festival at the Fairgrounds, dive into a world of decadent desserts, spiced confections, Fall-inspired cocktails and cozy coffees.
- Parkside Serenades: A Culture Days at the Park: Bring your family for a fun-filled outing at Milton Sports Centre (Picnic Area A) with live outdoor performances from local bands.

- Accessible Halloween Trick-or-Treat Experience: Children of all abilities are invited to join Halloween festivities in a safe and accessible environment, with candy stations set up with accessibility in mind.
- Frankie & The Fairlanes, 50s/60s Rock: Rose Window Concert Series: Visit the historic Sanctuary at St. Paul’s as this incredible 50s/60s rock n’ roll band takes the stage.
