Located in Freelton, Ontario, Lawson Park has been operating for over 50 years as a privately run seasonal campground. It offers family campsites, regular sites, and pull-through sites. Most of the sites are set up for 15 or 30-amp service. There is a laundry facility as well as three full washrooms.
Beyond camping, you will have access to the pavilion, where you can go to play bingo, darts, or dance. Still, you may also enjoy its tennis and basketball courts, splash pad, or horseshoe pits. They also have Wi-Fi stations for those who need to check in with the real world.
You’ll find the park nice and clean with a friendly owner named Susan, who makes it evident that she loves her work. The community is quite friendly. As such, you may find a waiting list to get in. Overall, it’s a quiet park with a community feel.
