
Chocolate and Tea Pairing Workshop

$25.00Finish off your week with an evening with two of life’s greatest pleasures: tea and chocolate! Learn how to pair and enjoy different teas and chocolates together. Expand your palate and learn how to create your own pairings at home. Participants will enjoy three custom pairings of locally made bonbons with three unique loose leaf teas and a tasting wheel.
Cost: $25.00
Registration closes at 6:30pm on Friday, February 21st (1 week prior). Any unpaid registrations will be cancelled at this time.
Please note that pairings may contain nuts and are prepared in facility that uses nuts.
Katie’s experience with tea comes in the memory of drinking Irish Breakfast with her grandmother out of delicate teacups.Today, she carries the same reverence and passion for the art of tea into her day to day life. Monarch Tea Co. was founded in March 2014 with the vision of bringing together the traditional elegance of tea time with a modern twist.
Katie is a certified Tea Sommelier through The Tea and Herbal Association of Canada. She is also the course instructor for the THAC Tea Sommelier Certification Intensive program in Toronto, Ontario. Her interactive tea talks have been taught worldwide in-person and online in homes, corporate events and places passionate about food and beverage. She has worked with clients such as Google, Spotify, The New York Times & more, sharing the love of tea with others through hands-on learning.
