Hike with Muslim Outdoor Adventures – Crawford Lake Conservation

Join us on a scenic adventure at Crawford Lake Conservation. This is an amazing opportunity to connect with like-minded Muslims who want to connect with nature and better their physical health.

Crawford Lake Conservation has pristine waters that have drawn people to its shores for hundreds of years. The rare meromictic lake, with its surrounding boardwalk, is nestled in lush forests atop the stunning Niagara Escarpment.

The Muslim Outdoor Adventures Volunteer Team will also be launching our fundraising campaign that will run through Ramadan at this event. You will get a chance to learn about it and can participate if you choose to do so. Donations are optional.

Hike Difficulty: Moderate

Hike Distance: 6 km

Duration: 3 hours

Route: Loop trail

Cost: $10.50 (Park entry fees)

Other things to do at Crawford Lake:

Explore the Longhouse Village, one of the most accurately dated

pre-contact archaeological sites in Canada. Three longhouses from this village have been reconstructed on their original footprint to help educate the public about the area’s Indigenous history.
