World Water Day

Crawford Lake Conservation Area will host a World Water Day event on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Join us as we celebrate the interconnectedness between water, land and all living beings, and recognize the importance of water as one of our relatives. The event will feature special live performances, water-based kids’ activities, and the opportunity to create your own pinch pot.
World Water Day coincides with Sweet Water Season at Crawford Lake, so you can also experience this celebration of Maple Season on the same day, at no extra cost. Book online and save on park gate fees.

Performance Schedule
Six Nations Women Singers: 11:00 am to 12:00 pm
- The Six Nations Women Singers is one of the most influential female First Nations singing groups. The group focuses on the traditional and social music and dance of the Haudenosaunee (People of the Longhouse). Come out to learn, listen and sing!
- Please bring a chair and dress appropriately for the weather.
- Location: by the lake (rain plan: will move to Longhouse Village)
River Christie-White: 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
- River is a talented Hoop Dancer, Musician and Producer. They have overcome many obstacles and barriers in their life. Today, they use their musical talents and the traditional art of Hoop Dancing to spread awareness about Autism and the lack of support for Indigenous children and families with special needs.
