Much in the same way we go to the Milton Farmers’ Market to discover fantastic farm and food vendors, so too do we want to get to know the world of crafters and community organizations. Lucky for us, Milton is full of some great ones.

In this companion piece to Milton Farmers’ Market: 2025 Guide to 51 Farm & Food Vendors, we’ll explore 35 craft and not-for-profit vendors.

Centre for Skills Development

Calling all newcomers to Canada (and Milton) and those looking to upgrade their skills, the Centre for Skills Development is what you need. They have employment specialists, pre-apprenticeship training, workshops, and events to help you enhance your career success.

Community Development Halton

Helping to ensure the social welfare of the community is integral to Halton. Community Development Halton promotes a high quality of life through research, planning, and encouraging volunteerism. They are always looking for donations and more volunteers to help continue to make Halton a vibrant community to live in.

Dazzling Candles

A family-owned business that serves all of Canada and the USA, but has humble beginnings in Milton. All of their candles are handcrafted from 100% natural soy wax. Each candle includes the sensory-pleasing wooden wick for cleaner burning, while leaving you feeling cozy inside. They have a variety of delicious scents and themes, which one will you go home with?

Distress Centre Halton

Distress Centre Halton is here to help you when you’re dealing with a crisis, loneliness, or emotional stress. They offer multiple supports: their Distress Line, where you can call and talk to someone for emotional support. Next is TeleCheck, their outbound call program that checks on isolated seniors, people who struggle with mental health, post-secondary students at school, and more. They are also available for speaking engagements.

ElderDog Canada

ElderDog Canada helps older adults with the care of their canine companions. In doing so, elderly residents can continue to keep their beloved lifelong pet by their side with the knowledge that they are properly taken care of. Know someone who could use this service? Pop by their stall for more information.

Farley Foundation

If you’d love the companionship of a pet, but worry about the vet expenses, check out the Farley Foundation. Helping those in need, the Farley Foundation subsidizes the cost of non-elective veterinary care. Those who recognize the name Farley may be familiar with the beloved Canadian comic, For Better or For Worse and cartoonist Lynn Johnston, without whom this foundation wouldn’t exist. Not sure if you qualify? Check them out at the market or their website.

Fine Arts Society of Milton (FSAM)

The Fine Arts Society of Milton (FASM) is a non-profit, membership-based arts organization. While its roots are in Milton, its members go beyond those borders to include Mississauga and Hamilton. Members cover a variety of art mediums, such as painters, metal artists, sculptors, authors, potters, and more.  You can find more about their exhibitions, shows, and workshops on their website. Or maybe you’d even like to become a member yourself?

FeedHalton

FeedHalton is a non-profit organization that manages, facilitates, and delivers needed food support to partners throughout the Halton region. A newer organization of about two years, they are always looking for volunteers as individuals, teams, and even schools. Donations are also greatly appreciated.

Halal Soap Shop & Minis

With the desire to buy soaps free of chemicals and animal fats but not finding any around, founder Dilshad decided to learn how to create her own soaps. Each soap blend is made in small batches and doesn’t contain any harmful ingredients to the body or the environment. Pop by her stand to discover her aromatic soaps.

Halton Agricultural Society

Formed in 1853, the Halton Agricultural Society helps promote agricultural awareness through events, such as the Milton Fall Fair. They are also responsible for Santa at the Fairgrounds and many years of Canada Day celebrations.

KEP Candles Boutique

All KEP Candles are clean-burning, made with vegan wax from non-toxic ingredients. They have different scents, from eucalyptus & lavender to classic vanilla or ever-enticing chocolate. Plus, each candle is hand-crafted with wood wicks, for that extra cozy audio sensory feeling.

Milton Lawn Bowling Club

Serving the community for over 110 years, the Milton Lawn Bowling Club is your spot when you love lawn bowling. For those who don’t know what it is, it’s a low-impact sport where you throw your bowl (a hard resin ball) down a curved path and try to get it closer to the target than your opponents (not too different from bocce ball). Not sure it’s for you? They invite you to give them a try, and they provide free lessons and bowls.

Milton Players Theatre Group

Formed around 45 years ago by a small group of theatre enthusiasts, the Milton Players produced their first play, Goodnight, Mrs. Puffin. Since then, their group has grown, and they now produce multiple shows each year. Whether you want to become a member or see one of their shows, you should check them out.

You’ll have to buy one to find out!

Pretty Little Press-ons

Need some custom press-on nails to match your Desi fits? Then you’re in luck. Sarah creates beautiful designs which you can shop in her collections she showcases at the market, or put in your order for a custom-made design. All designs are 100% gel and are inspired by her Indian heritage.
