In the winter, Kelso Park magically transforms into a winter wonderland for some fantastic skiing and snowboarding. This skiing haven is called Glen Eden. Here’s everything you need to know about where you can ski and snowboard, how to get tickets, and more.
Glen Eden

65234 Kelso Rd, Milton, ON L9T 2X7
Glen Eden, which is open from 8:30 am to 9:30 pm daily, is divided into ten main runs. There are also a Learning Centre, Progression Park, and West Beginner Area, which all have their own runs.
The main runs are broken up into the following categories:
- Easy
- Intermediate
- Terrain Park
- Difficult
All lifts on the main hill hold up to four people. The lifts in the learning and beginner area only hold one person at a time. You can see a map of the different runs here.
Ticket Information
Depending on how often you like to go skiing, you will need a ticket. Currently, season passes and lift tickets are having an early bird sale for the 2025/2026 passes and programs. Early bird prices are available until October 14. Pre-season prices are available until December 18, and regular prices are available from December 19 to the end of the season.
Season pass cards and paper lift tickets have been replaced with RFID (radio-frequency identification) cards. Your card can be kept in a secure pocket on the left side of your body, and sensors will allow you hands-free gate and lift access.
The card is reloadable and reusable, allowing you to use it across multiple seasons with a new payment. So, don’t throw them away once the season is over if you plan to visit the park again next year.
Advantage Pass
The Advantage Pass allows you to ski or snowboard throughout the week between 8:30 am and 9:30 pm. You may choose an individual or a family pass, the latter of which includes a seasonal visit for four people.
5-day, 7-night Pass
If your window to enjoy the slopes is shorter, you may prefer a 5-day, 7-night pass. This too has early, pre-season, and regular season prices, which can be found on the website.
Weekday Pass
Take advantage of an unexpected day off with a weekday pass. Seniors 65 and up can opt for the senior weekday pass.
Lesson Passes
These passes are meant for those taking a lesson from Glen Eden’s Snow School. There is an 8-Week Program Lesson Pass, a Camp Lesson Pass, and a Competitive Lesson Pass.
Their Snow School Group Programs cater to beginners and those looking to develop their skills further, offering opportunities in intermediate and advanced categories. They even have competitive programs for skiers wanting to learn how to race, with the potential to train with a team.
Tip: If you sign up for a Snow School Program, you will also need a valid pass option.
Core Programs
They have four different programs from which to choose: Kinder, Primary, Junior, Teen, and Adult. The average student-to-instructor ratio is 8:1.
Academy Programs
Those who are more experienced may like to try one of the following Academy Programs: High Performance, Ladies Day, Intro to Freestyle, and Advanced Freestyle.
Competitive Programs
Last, there are competitive programs for those who want more of a challenge. These programs are run in partnership with Milton Heights Race Club (MHRC). Under this area, you will find the following programs: Learn to Race Camp, Racing Development Program, Competitive U8-U19, and Tuesday Night Training (T.N.T).
To find out more about their programs, visit their Snow School site.
Accessible Programs
If you know someone who would love to ski but needs a bit of help due to their disability, Track3 is an accessible program at Glen Eden. To learn more about it, you may visit their website.
Shuttle Service
Weekends can get busy at Glen Eden, so much so that it may be preferable not to drive. Lucky for locals, there is a courtesy weekend shuttle service. The service includes two tractor-pulled wagons, with pickup and drop-off at six locations.
To understand the drop-off locations, you can see the Glen Eden Trail Map. It runs Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 am to 9:45 pm (weather permitting), and doesn’t allow strollers or dogs on it.
Where to Eat
It’s not hard to work up an appetite playing in the snow. Lucky for us, Glen Eden has three food service stations.
East Lodge
East Lodge has an array of hot and cold food and drinks. It is open daily from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.
West Lodge
West Lodge has hot and cold food, drinks, and a full-service menu Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Tuesday and Thursday, between 2:00 and 9:00 pm, there is a full-service menu; however, during the 8-week Ladies Day lesson program, food service is closed from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Trailhead
Trailhead is open from 8:30 am to 9:30 pm daily for hot and cold drinks, plus snacks.
Glen Eden Trailhead Store
It happens; you get to the slopes only to realize you forgot your gloves. Luckily, the Glen Eden Trailhead Store, located west of the Learning Centre, has all your snowy-day gear, from gloves to hats, goggles to helmets; they’ll get you back on the hill in no time. It’s open from 8:30 am to 9:30 pm.
Pro Shop
The Pro Shop is ready to handle all your repair needs. From waxing and sharpening to minor repairs, you can talk to their friendly service team to make sure your equipment gets the best care. Open from 8:30 am to 9:00 pm, every day, next to the Rental Shop.
Seasonal Equipment Storage
It’s your first day down the freshly covered hill, and you’re excited to come back tomorrow, but you don’t feel like having to drag your skis or snowboard back and forth with you. The most convenient option is to store them at Glen Eden.
After payment, you’ll receive a code to access their secure building and a key to lock your equipment. This code and key can be picked up at the Visitor Centre on your first visit and is yours to hold onto for the season.
More Important Information
First, if you’re new to skiing or snowboarding, or maybe you need a refresher of the rules, it’s wise to visit their safety section on their website. The hill can get very busy, so knowing how to navigate the runs safely will help keep everyone safe and let them have fun.
Next, as you know, the weather can be funny; sometimes it can be snowing in one place but not another, especially in Canada. That’s why Glen Eden has a snowmaking team to ensure that even when Mother Nature isn’t cooperating, there is still enough snow on the hill to ensure you have a great day out on the slopes.
Get real-time conditions with their live view, which is active during ski season and streams the western runs from the West Lodge peak.
We certainly are lucky to live in a part of Halton that makes it so easy to appreciate all of the seasons, winter included. From beginner to advanced skiing and snowboarding, Glen Eden has it all. Don’t hesitate to get out on the slopes and have some fun.
