Oh Look, Fabric! Level 1 – Learn to Sew Workshop (Adult)

Want to learn to sew but have no idea how to start or work your machine? Let one of Oh Look, Fabric! experienced and well versed instructors walk you through the basics of sewing. Our goal is to help you feel more confident in your sewing abilities and get you on the right track.

In this workshop we will be making a standard size pillowcase which includes a french seam (sounds so fancy doesn’t it?). We will go over the basic settings of a sewing machine (tension, stitch length, how to thread your machine and how to load a bobbin, etc). You will also learn how to press, use a rotary cutter etc. All the fun little stuff you need to know to be successful.

A sewing machine will be provided to you for this workshop.
