This event honors OPP Sergeant Greg Stobbart, whose tragic death while cycling in 2006 inspired the creation of the Share the Road Cycling Coalition. Greg’s story serves as a powerful reminder of why we ride—to create safer roads for everyone, ensuring no other families have to face such devastating loss. By participating in the Share the Road Gran Fondo, you’re helping to create safer roads and communities for cyclists. Funds raised will directly support Share the Road’s mission, from advancing safer cycling infrastructure to delivering education campaigns and advocating for meaningful change.
