Workshop Description

Join Barbara as you explore a looser, more impressionistic approach to the traditional street scene subject matter.  Barbara will guide you as you learn how colour relationships, edges, composition, shape, and value play an important role in conveying a strong visual statement. Expect to talk about perspective in depth and as well, play with a variety of colours and colour harmonies in the palettes of the great impressionists.  You will be showered with lots of individual attention to guide you in a manner for painting in a representational but also an impressionistic style.
