Can’t Miss Milton Events for April 2026

April is packed full of ways to stay busy and connect with others in the community. For the adults, we’ve got everything from learning the basics of beer and wine making to weekly trivia nights and a pop-up by Fat Cat at Third Moon Brewing. For the youth, Easter egg hunts, a neurodiverse teen hangout, and family paint events.

Don’t miss out on your chance to experience all the fun Milton has to offer.

Experience of the Month

  • Fat Cat Pop-Up!: Fat Cat is back at Third Moon Brewing for some delicious hand-made burgers with their epic house-made sauce. Open at 12:00 until 4:00 pm, or until food has sold out.

Ongoing Events

  • Grace Church’s Walking Group at Mill Pond: Join Grace Church’s Walking Group for a nice, gentle walk around Milton’s iconic Mill Pond. Meet up at Grace Church at 8:30 am or at the Mill Pond Gazebo at 8:45 am every Wednesday.
  • Introduction to Speed Skating: If you’ve ever been curious about speed skating, why not try an introductory class at the Milton Sports Centre? Sign up for 3 sessions, April 1, 8, and 15, and learn the basics. This is an all-ages class, and equipment is provided.
  • Wednesday Night Trivia at St. Louis Bar & Grill in Milton: It’s trivia night every Wednesday night at St. Louis Bar and Grill. Your chance to show off your knowledge and skills and potentially earn a prize, plus bragging rights. Don’t forget to call ahead at (905) 875-1333 to reserve your spot.
  • Public Speaking & Leadership Skills- Supporting Women Entrepreneurs: Women who want to learn to bolster their voice and become better prepared at public speaking, head on over to the Toastmasters Club. These meetings take place every Wednesday from 7:30 to 9:30 pm, and the first one is free.
  • Meat Shoot: The Halton Sportsman Association hosts a Series of Gun Shoots. While this event carries over the year until Dec 12 with the Turkey shoot, this April 3, join in the fun of the Ham shoot from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. All shooters must have a valid PAL and bring their own gun.
  • Happy Hour Wine & Beer Tasting in Milton: Join Vin Bon Milton on Friday evenings with a time slot of 4:00, 5:00, or 6:00 pm for your opportunity to taste and learn more about making your own wine and beer. Come alone or with friends for your chance to experience something new, and don’t forget to bring a few snacks for the tastings.
  • Graceway Baptist Church Women to Women Ministry: Join in the monthly fellowship for women with God’s teachings on the first Saturday of every month.
  • Spirit of the Lake: There is a new Indigenous art exhibition at Crawford Lake Conservation Area that runs until the end of June. It celebrates the park’s rare meromictic lake, a phenomenon that allows for the water and sediments to record centuries of time, and the Indigenous perspectives.
  • Neurodiverse Teen Hangout: Know a neurodivergent teen who could use a safe space and a way to connect with others of a similar mind? Sign them up for this 2-hour Saturday gathering from 2:00 to 4:00 pm for some connecting, gaming, and the potential to make some new friends.
  • Monday Night Trivia at Keenan’s Irish Pub in Milton: If you love trivia, come out for Keenan’s Irish Pub Trivia Night from 7:30 to 9:30 pm with host master Colleen Whelpdale. Reserve your spot on Eventbrite and call Keenan’s at (905) 693-0030 to reserve your table.
  • Tuesday Night Trivia at Shoeless Joe’s in Milton: Show off your talent of knowing random facts at Trivia Night at Shoeless Joe’s. Reservations can be made via Eventbrite, but please also call Shoeless Joe’s at (905) 864-9779 to reserve your table.
  • Heels – Beginners Class: If you feel your workout routine needs a bit of a shakeup, check out Heels, a confidence-boosting beginner’s class to help build strength, balance, coordination, and also have fun. Get your 10-class pass; first class starts Thursday, April 9, at 7:00 pm.
  • Graceway Baptist Church Deep Roots Youth Night: Calling kids in grades 7 through 12 to come out for Youth Night, every second Friday at 7:00 pm at Graceway Baptist Church.
  • Trivia Night!: Another opportunity for some fun trivia… and maybe a few drinks. Pop in to Third Moon Brewing brings Quizmaster James Laird every second Friday at 7:30 pm to test your wits. Don’t miss out on April 10 and 24 for a fun night out.  
  • Graceway Baptist Church Men’s Fellowship: Expand your relationship with God and join a fellowship that will further your connection with your community every second Saturday of the month from 7:00 to 8:00 pm.
  • Monthly Meeting: Meet Me at the Station: Join speaker and local historian John MacDonald as he talks about local railways that changed the town of Milton forever.
  • Holding Space: A FREE opportunity for those who have suffered from the death of a loved one, wanting to learn about how to hold space for them. Meet at Milton Public Library with Anne Stewart, a registered Social Service Worker, Grief Counsellor, End-of-Life Doula, and owner of Holding Space Halton. This month’s meeting will cover the theme Collective Grief: How “we” can affect “me”. Registration is required to attend. More Holding Space events will be held in May and June.

Thursday, April 2

  • Milton Comedy Show: If you need a good laugh and a night out of the house, head on over to Ned Devine’s Iris Pub. Featuring comedians Alex Dewitt, Marc Trinidad, Sandra Battaglini, and Todd Graham.

Friday, April 3

  • Easter Craft & Connect: Children ages 2-10 are invited to join in some Easter fun at the Milton Fairgrounds with crafts, egg hunts, and community connections. Please register ahead to hold your spot.

Saturday, April 4

  • Easter Family Fun: Head on over to Robert Baldwin Park from 10:00  to 11:30 am for a FREE Easter Egg Hunt fun, Easter crafts, and cookie decorating. Please register ahead of time so there are enough materials for all.
  • Sweet Water at Crawford Lake: A tradition that has been celebrated for years and will continue to be so at Crawford Lake. Enjoy a sweet taste of birch syrup along with a tour of the Longhouse Village, children’s craft activities, and a visit to the Spirit of the Lake Exhibit. The last weekend for this is April 4 and 5!
  • Family Paint Party: Get out with the family for a fun evening of painting at Boston Pizza Milton. No prior experience needed. Let yourself become inspired as the paint instructor guides you to create your masterpiece.
  • First Ever Milton Dance Party!: Head on over to Ned Devine’s from 8:30 to 11:30 pm for a night of dance, music, and drinks.

Monday, April 6

  • Fairy Gardens & Minecraft Biomes: Children and their caregivers come to Milton’s Slime Lab from 10:00 to 11:30 am to create a miniature garden together. Each garden will use real flowers and can be decorated with whimsical fairies and gnomes or a scene from Minecraft using characters and accessories.

Wednesday, April 8

  • 100+ Women Who Care Milton – 2nd Meeting of 2026: An occasion to make Milton better is an occasion to celebrate. Join in making a difference through 100 Women Who Care, a way to connect with other like-minded women and donate to a good cause. The second meeting will take place at Uncle Sam’s BBQ from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.

Friday, April 10

  • Caribbean Nights: It’s the last of Caribbean Nights at Champs Family Entertainment Centre. Enjoy a night of Island vibes with dancing, wine, and Caribbean treats. The fun begins at 9:00 pm. Entry is free.  

Saturday, April 11

  • Family Paint Party: Join local artist Disha for an evening of painting at Shoeless Joes. Arrive early to pick your meal before you settle in to paint your masterpiece.
  • Back 2 Basics Vol. 2 – Live Music: Third Moon Brewing hosts an epic night of music. Doors open at 6:00 pm for this 19+ event.
  • Pulse X Live @ Champs Milton: Pulse X is coming back to Milton for a very special night. Not only are they bringing the best of rock, pop, and retro to Champs, but it’s bass player Mike’s birthday, giving more reason to celebrate. Head on over from 8:30 to 10:30 pm.
  • The 2 Dollar Bills at The Ivy Arms: Wings, drinks, the Leafs, and the best of the 70s, 80s, 90s, and early 2000s brought to you by the 2 Dollar Bills. The party starts at 9:30 pm.

  • An Evening with Adam Shoalts: Join best-selling author and Canadian wilderness explorer Adam Shoalts for an evening at Aspire Climbing Milton from 7:00 to 8:00 pm as he talks about his newest book, Vanished Beyond the Map: The Mystery of Lost Explorer Hubert Darrell. Registration is required.

Thursday, April 16

  • Sunflower Wreath Workshop: It may still be spring, but soon enough, the sunflowers will blossom. Don’t want to wait for that to happen? Then head on over to the Art Haven Café from 6:00 to 8:30 for an evening of sunflower wreath making. Please register beforehand.
  • Paint Nite Brand Creative Events: Paint your way to a Misty Mountain Sunrise to bring home and display proudly when you come to this creative workshop at Montana’s BBQ & Bar. Be sure to arrive early to place your order for food and drinks and to grab your table.

Friday, April 17

  • 2026 Ladies Pink PJ Party: Take part in a night of music and dancing in support of Cancer Assistance Halton Hills. Ticket price includes pizza and snacks. Don’t forget your pink pjs.
  • Keenan’s Milton w/t Likely Spam: Head on over to Keenan’s for a night of great music and great food from 9:00 to 11:00 pm.

Saturday, April 18

  • Intro to Turkey Hunting: If you’ve ever wanted to learn more about hunting a turkey, this is the event for you. While registration is closed, Experience Milton wants to ensure the opportunity to know about all events. If you’d like to learn more about this event and future similar events, visit the Canadian Sports Woman Society site to learn more.
  • Team Relay Challenge: Join in the fun of speed skating in this all-relay event at the Milton Sports Centre. Open to skaters 5 years and older with a valid speed skating membership.
  • The Fundamentals of Holistic Healing for Animals with Therapeutic Touch: A two-day event that focuses on providing care and relief for animals experiencing pain or stress. Learn how to use the therapeutic touch on all creatures in this continuing education workshop that runs from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm both days at the Elm Tree Centre.
  • Therapist Led Kintsugi Workshop: Learn the art of Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, at Inner Life Psychotherapy. Go beyond the pottery and understand the power behind it to help heal and create resiliency.
  • Skull Planter Succulent Workshop w/ Foliage!: Third Moon Brewing combines beer and botanicals in this skull planter workshop. Gain the benefits of having our very own succulent plant to bring home. The class begins at 11:30 am and requires a ticket to attend.
  • Ontario Dressage AGM, 2025 Awards & 2026 Strategic Plan: It’s the 2026 AGM where awards for the 2025 year will be given. Registration is required for this FREE event.
  • Family Paint Party: It’s another fun afternoon of painting at Boston Pizza. The more the merrier and beginners are welcome. Don’t forget to come early to order your food and drinks.

Sunday, April 19

  • Garage Sale and Donation DayIf you’ve been holding onto stuff that no longer serves you, well, now is the perfect time to donate those once-beloved treasures of yours. Head on over to the Royal Canadian Legion Hall from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm with all of your donations ready: bags for clothes and textiles, and boxes for small household goods.
  • Sourdough School: It’s the last of the sourdough workshops with Chef Serdjo at the Marquee Steakhouse & Piano Lounge. Each participant will take home a loaf of artisan sourdough and their very own live starter to recreate this delicious bread in their own kitchen.
  • Family Paint Party: Grab your favourite painting buddy and head on over to Boston Pizza to join local artist Disha Sharma for an afternoon of painting. Registration is required.

Monday, April 20

  • Milton Meet and Greet: Come on out for the first-ever Milton Bad Talk Meet and Greet hosted by Rick Di Lorenzo, celebrating free speech in Milton. Plus, get a free slice of Mama’s Lemon Pound Cake!

Tuesday, April 21  

  • Paint Nite Brand Creative Events: Get your creative juices flowing in an evening of painting at Keenan’s Irish Pub. Arrive early with your party to reserve your spot and order some food and drinks.

Thursday, April 23

  • Live Music w/ 12 Gauge Charlie: Music and beer await you at Third Moon Brewing with 12-Gauge Charlie. Doors open at 6:00 pm, with a $5 cover charge for this 19+ event.

Friday, April 24

  • PA Day Camp at Country Heritage Park: PA Days mean either entertaining the kids or staying home from work. Take the stress out and register your kid for a day of camp fun and outdoor discovery!
  • Jerk Chicken Pop-up with Grant’s Gourmet: The best of jerk chicken combines with the depth of flavour that can only be brought to you by Third Moon Brewing. Enjoy this perfect match from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
  • Fleetwood Mac Mania: Get lost in this musical tribute to the iconic band, Fleetwood Mac. With stunning visuals and the harmonies of their best hits, Fleetwood Mac Mania brings an epic night of entertainment to all.

Saturday, April 25

  • Milton Rotary Denim & Diamonds Spring Gala: It’s the 7th annual Denim & Diamonds Spring Gala at Country Heritage Park. Get ready for a night of dinner, dancing, and live band music. There will also be a silent auction, cash bar, and buffet dinner. Early-bird tickets on sale now!
  • Mill Pond Free Children’s Fishing Derby: A stocked pond of fresh trout is waiting for all children looking to get their fishing on from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm at Mill Pond. This is a FREE event that includes food and prizes. Worms will be provided, but please bring your own rods and hooks.
  • Family Paint Party: Shoeless Joes plays host to another Family Paint Nite event from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Unleash your inner artist and arrive early to get your eat on!
  • The Tree Top Poets at Orange Snail Brewers: Get ready for an afternoon of classic rock from the 50s to the early 2000s by the Tree Top Poets from 3:30 to 5:30 pm.
  • The Men of the Deeps: Enjoy the melodies of The Men of the Deeps, a Cape Breton choir of working and retired coal miners spreading the stories and folklore of the island’s coal mining communities.
  • Just For Laughs: It’s the Just for Laughs Road Show 2026, and Milton is one of its stops at the First Ontario Arts Centre. Get your tickets now for a night of laughter and pure enjoyment.
  • The Radio Sonics @ Uncle Sam’s Bar & BBQ: Enjoy a night of pure harmony with the best of The RadioSonics and Milton’s very own Uncle Sam’s BBQ. Come hungry and ready to dance.
