Sandra created Paws and Puddles after she worked as a PSW in long-term care in Halton for 20 years. After a shoulder injury and two years in recovery, she realized she was ready for a change. She didn’t want to be tied down to a desk or miss another minute with her kids.
Always having a passion for animals, she believes that dogs can brighten even the darkest of days. Sandra decided to try dog walking beginning in 2021. Her business has taken off mostly through word of mouth, and she considers herself lucky to have such a rewarding job. Her current rates (subject to change May 1, 2022) are as follows:
- 30-minute walk -$15.00
- 60-minute walk – $20.00
